Israel Teen Travel Scholarship Information

Scholarship Application

To apply, complete the Scholarship Application, and return it to CJP. We will notify you of your status as soon as possible. Applications are evaluated on an individual and rolling basis.

Please note:

• Funds may not be used for CJP missions, synagogue trips, or family trips.
• Funds are mailed directly to the program provider, not to the program participant.
• Participants must be a resident of the Greater Boston area and either enrolled in high school or participating in a pre-college gap year.
• Scholarship recipients who change programs, withdraw their application, or cancel their trip must notify their program provider and ensure the funds are returned to CJP.

Scholarship Awards
In general, approved applicants can expect scholarships in the following amounts:

• For programs that run 10-12 months, we generally award $850
• For five-month programs, we award $600
• For summer programs (four weeks or longer), we award $400

In lieu of scholarship, we offer financial aid to students who demonstrate increased need. To apply, simply download and complete the Financial Assistance Application and return it to CJP. Remember to include a letter from your Israel program provider, stating that you are in need of additional funds.
