The Accountants Group at Combined Jewish Philanthropies is a community of Greater Boston accounting professionals who want to connect with Jewish culture and values, and with each other. As we enter our second year, the Group will build on last year’s success and plan interesting and timely events for the 2010 Campaign year and provide more leadership and volunteer opportunities specifically for accountants.

Recent Event:
On the evening of January 19, 2011, five hundred Boston area lawyers and accountants gathered at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel to celebrate the “Heroes Among Us” at CJP's Annual Lawyers & Accountants Dinner. The evening began with an hour long networking cocktail reception which featured the Gann Academy Jazz Ensemble. The dinner honored Steven Krichmar of Putnam Investments and Alan Rottenberg of Goulston & Storrs with the Community of Excellence Awards, and featured Marc Jacobs of Jewish Family services of Metrowest and Sy Friedland of Jewish family and Children’s Services. Marc and Sy reminded us of the countless ways to lend our strength and of the impact each one of us has the power to make through volunteer opportunities like Bet Tzedek and the Financial Literacy Program.
