Celebrating Jewish Day School Education
Jewish day schools offer a variety of education choices for parents who appreciate high-quality academics and want their children to grow and learn in an environment defined by solid Judaic values. A Jewish day school education includes top-notch academics, a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, small classes and outstanding educators in a setting rich with Jewish values and positive peer groups. CJP is proud to support all of these schools and their 2,600 youngsters in the Greater Boston area.
"Our wonderful day schools give our children and their families an opportunity to connect with the deep traditions of our past, present and future, while at the same time offering a world-class education," says Aron Ain, Co-chair of the Commission on Jewish Continuity & Education and proud father of two Rashi School alumni. "What a bargain for my children who learned to carry forward the positive values of our faith. Our entire family continues to benefit in so many meaningful ways."
In addition, the Peerless Excellence Project, a historic $45 million gift by a group of anonymous local day school supporters, has changed the landscape of Greater Boston’s Jewish day school community. "Peerless" initiatives to date, which include a community-wide special needs program, have already begun improving the lives of many of the area’s day school children. The funds will also dramatically increase the academic excellence of area schools and invite more area children – and families -- to enjoy the benefits of a Jewish day school education.
