Special Education in non-Day Schools (Hebrew schools, preschools, etc)
CJP provides funding to Gateways: Access to Jewish Education and to synagogues and other community partners to create inclusive learning opportunities for all children in area Hebrew School, pre-schools, and other Jewish community non-Day School settings. CJP is committed to helping every Jewish child learn in the best way they can.

Gateways Supplementary School Special Education:
Consultation and Administration
With funding from CJP, Gateways provides expertise, consultation to schools, professional training and leadership, and directs a grants process for the expansion of special education services in area schools. Other responsibilities include assessing needs and resources, presenting workshops for teachers and administrators, and bringing together groups to discuss possible collaborations.

CJP provides funds to be distributed to area synagogue schools, regional centers and Gateways-led preschools for SPED curriculum development, instructors, and seeding new programs.
