Lives changed by emergency education grant

The recession has cost people their jobs, their savings and their stability. For parents, one of the hardest realities of these trying economic times is the impact it has on their children. Suddenly, the beloved summer camp their child has attended for years is out of reach, and day school tuition—once a necessity—is an unaffordable luxury.

A generous grant from the Jim Joseph Foundation allowed CJP to distribute $1 million in 2009 for emergency Jewish education grants. Click on the links below for stories from our school and camps that highlight the wonderful opportunities this funding provided.
