To help attract, reward and retain employees, CJP offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Our benefits program increases total compensation and helps reduce both the financial and emotional stress of unexpected events. The program also encourages personal and professional growth and helps create a stimulating work environment. For most benefits, eligibility is based on working at least a 20-hour work week.

Health Insurance

Eligible employees and their eligible dependents can choose from either an HMO or POS health insurance option. Both are offered through Tufts Health Plan. CJP pays 60% - 82% of the total premium, based on employee annual salary and plan selection. Health insurance takes effect on the first day of employment.

Dental Insurance

CJP offers dental coverage for eligible employees and their eligible dependents through Dental Blue (Blue Cross Blue Shield). CJP pays 70% - 75% of the total premium, based on plan selection. Dental insurance takes effect on the first day of employment.

403(b) Retirement Plan

CJP’s 403(b) plan makes it easy for employees to save for retirement and provides the added incentive of matching contributions. You can contribute to your retirement account on a pre-tax basis, through payroll deduction, and can enroll in the plan at any time. Your account is invested in your choice of professionally managed investment funds, offered through Nationwide Life Insurance Company.

Paid Time Off

CJP offers generous vacation and sick time for employees who work more than 20 hours a week. In addition, all employees generally receive the following paid holidays:

  • 10 federal holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day
  • Up to 13 days for the following Jewish holidays: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Succoth, Shemini Atzereth, Simchat Torah, Passover, Shavuoth
