Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks Monday, December 3, 7:00 p.m. Young Israel 62 Green Street, Brookline
Join us to hear Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, the Chief Rabbi of Great Britain, discuss his new book, The Great Partnership: Science, Religion, and the Search for Meaning. This is a unique opportunity to learn from a leading Jewish scholar as he considers how we can embrace modern science while maintaining our Jewish values and beliefs. His impassioned, thoroughly researched and beautifully reasoned new book argues that not only are science and religion compatible, they complement each other—and both are essential. The evening will also include a conversation with CJP President Barry Shrage.
COST: $18 per person Event fees reflect the cost of goods and services provided and are not tax deductible.
