Women’s Philanthropy 3rd Annual One Book Read
Thursday, January 31, 7:00 p.m.
Temple Shir Tikva, 141 Boston Post Road, Wayland
Featuring Francesca Segal, author of The Innocents
Inspired by Edith Wharton’s The Age of Innocence, Francesca Segal’s book tells the story of Adam Newman. Born in a small and tight-knit Jewish suburb in London, Adam is engaged to the perfect woman--reserved and innocent. But when Adam meets his fiancé’s beautiful and independent younger cousin, he suddenly finds himself torn between tradition and passion.
Come together with women from areas west of Boston for a thought-provoking discussion with the author.
Light refreshments will be served. Dietary laws will be observed.
COST: $25 per person

The Innocents is available in ebook and hardcover versions, but is not yet available as a paperback. If you order via this special CJP link on Amazon.com, CJP will receive a portion of the proceeds!
We also invite you to participate in our Women’s Philanthropy Mitzvah Corps Tikkun Olam project by bringing a new pair of gloves or mittens for a child between the ages of 5-12. Jewish Family Service of Metrowest’s Reducing Achievement Gaps Program will distribute our donations to children at the Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in Framingham who are most at risk for educational, health and social challenges. Your in-kind donations will truly make a bigger difference for these children. Click here for more information about Jewish Family Service of Metrowest. |
