CJP’s Technology Industry Group (TIG) is a community of technology professionals who work in Greater Boston who want to connect with Jewish culture and values, and with each other. TIG offers dynamic social programming as well as educational, philanthropic and community service opportunities that enrich the Jewish community.

Ezra Society

The Ezra Society is a giving society of TIG that recognizes the generous support of those technology professionals who make an annual contribution of $1,800 or more to CJP’s Annual Campaign. In Hebrew, ezra means “aid” or “assistance.”  Phyllis Swersky and David Teplow, chairs of the Ezra Society, encourage other technology professionals to become involved with the dynamic and unique community provided by Ezra Society.

Recent Event:

On June 2, 2011, members of the Ezra Society joined in a discussion on IP Security and Counterterrorism. Leading the discussion were Mr. Ted Julian, IT security expert, and Dr. Matthew Levitt of The Washington Institute for Near East Policy. We were reminded how important staying on the leading edge of technology is to the national security domestically and internationally.
