Through CJP's IACT campus initiative, a Holocaust memory service-learning project — Together, Restoring Their Names — was created by students in 2015. In addition to volunteering with local survivors, the students bring Holocaust education to local campuses through events, academic conferences, film screenings, and social media.
Going off the beaten track in Amsterdam, students examine the Holocaust as it unfolded in the Netherlands. With Anne Frank as a frame of reference, the film probes Holocaust memorialization and why the genocide was so thorough in the Netherlands compared to the rest of Europe.
