CJP’s Communal Security Initiative Introduces Free Reopening Care Kits

By Craig Byer, Senior Digital Marketing Manager

There are many organizations that remain closed and face real uncertainty about whether it is safe to open or not. While CJP is not advocating for any decisions to be made, we do want to ensure our partners are supported should they choose to reopen.

Thanks to donor support, CJP’s Communal Security Initiative team is sending Reopening Care Kits to all synagogues, Jewish day schools, and Chabads in CJP’s catchment area.

 Each Reopening Care Kit includes:

  • A touchless, wall-mounted hand sanitizer dispenser to mount by entryways
  • Four gallons of hand sanitizer refill solution
  • A “welcome” poster and three other posters with reminders about social distancing and hygiene containing CDC guidelines

AdditionallyCJP has offered a reimbursable $5,000 physical security infrastructure grant to synagogues and Chabads, and a $10,000 grant to Jewish day schools.
