Learning from Passover

By Barry Shrage, CJP President

As we gather around our seder tables to celebrate Passover with family and friends this week, we are reminded of our common history, traditions, and our most deeply-held values. For me, this holiday is a wonderful example of how the ideas that make us Jewish are reinforced by shared stories, shared experiences, and a shared commitment to teaching them to our children and grandchildren.

As you and your family prepare for the holiday, I invite you to view the new video of my thoughts on Passover. And as you read together from the Haggadah, I hope you will take a moment to reflect on how the stories of our past continue to have something beautiful to teach us about who we are and what we have to share with the world.
