Camp Tevya, celebrating 80 years as non-profit, Jewish cultural camp for boys and girls ages 8- 15, welcomes qualified candidates for Head of Arts and Crafts at Camp Tevya, Brookline, NH. (www.camptevya.org).
Head of Arts & Crafts supervises, and coordinates the arts & crafts staff and program including all arts & crafts electives and bunk activities periods; opens and closes arts & crafts department including inventory reports. Qualifications: 1-3 years in a leadership role as Assistant Head of Arts & Crafts or Head of Arts & Crafts at a day or residential camp, experience supervising, and organizing an arts & crafts program including organization of age appropriate and project-based arts & crafts activities program. Bachelor degree preferred. Candidates with majors in education, art education, applied art, or recreation encouraged to apply. Some pre-camp work with Tevya’s director and program director is required.
