Schechter Boston is currently hiring an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher for the Spring of 2024. You will play a critical role in the spiritual and character development of some of the youngest members of our community.
Responsibilities include:
Foster a positive environment: Whether it is with children or co-teachers, you will model and create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Facilitate activities: You will help implement the age-appropriate lesson plans created by lead teachers.
Supervise children: You will help create a safe environment during all learning and play activities. This includes assisting with diaper changing/toilet training when needed.
Who you are:
You are warm, nurturing, and passionate about working with young children.
You are able to stand for long periods of time and are able to lift up to 50 pounds.
You have two years of relevant work experience (preferred).

Location: Schechter Boston is located in Newton, Massachusetts.
Hours: The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Salary: We thrive to provide a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package that supports our faculty and staff. Pay for this position is $22+/hour, commensurate with experience.
