Production & Box Office Manager

Attention to detail and strong communication are hallmarks of JArts. The Production & Box Office Manager will be part of program discussions from inception through evaluation, ensuring smooth planning and execution of all event details and on-going communication with all contractors.




Manage all event production, including: 

Contracts with artists, vendors, and partners

Coordinate merchandise sales with performers as needed

Build detailed event schedules

Be in on-going communication with all vendors and artists

Book all event catering, photography, travel, and books/merchandise

Help Artistic Director acquire promotional materials and photos from artists and vendors as needed

Ensure timely payments to program contractors and ensure that all necessary paperwork and receipts are received

Oversee invoice process in collaboration with bookkeeper

Maintain vendor contacts in the Patron Manager database

Manage day of event production and back of house issues

Clean up materials from all events and return them to the appropriate storage spaces within a week of an event

Work 3/4 of events (about 20 total per year)



Manage box office and all event ticketing

Oversee Patron Manager ticketing system

Set up all events in PM

Manage service issues with PM

3+ years experience in event production

Experience with online database and ticketing systems (Patron Manager or the like)
