The teaching position includes the core classes of 5th grade Human body, 5th grade Math, and 5th-6th grade Humanities. Strong knowledge of general studies subjects and Judaic subjects, team player, sense of humor, love of children. At least two years of relevant experience preferred. Candidate is expected to:
Provide maximum learning opportunities for students in accordance with program objectives and each student‘s abilities, interests, and needs. Instruct students in accordance with the MWJDS philosophy of education, policies, and curriculum. Employ a variety of instructional techniques, materials, and instructional media, consistent with the abilities of the students and the objectives of the course. All applicants should be computer literate and comfortable integrating technology into classroom instruction. Set a positive example for students and the community by demonstrating respect and concern for students and an awareness of community values. Take and record attendance accurately in classes and/or homeroom. Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and teaching. Maintain good humor, enthusiasm, initiative, and integrity with students and parents and have a positive working relationship with them. Perform other reasonably related duties as required by the school administration.
Master degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required.
