MWJDS is an independent school that has been educating children and building community in the Metrowest area for nearly 20 years. Our approximately 50 students range from grades K-8, and our intentionally small classes tend to have between 5-10 students each. We are a pluralistic Jewish school, welcoming families from all Jewish backgrounds and practices. We are known for our individualized approach to each child and family, and we emphasize individual problem-solving, creativity, discovery, and self-advocacy. We create a learning profile for each and every student as we believe we all learn best when we are well-known across many dimensions (cognitive, emotional, social, interests, etc.).

We are seeking a teaching candidate for a long term substitute position to be the teacher for a grades 3-4 classroom for September, October, and November, and then to be the teacher for a Middle School classroom for December and January. Both vacancies are due to maternity/paternity leaves. We are open to a candidate who wishes only to substitute for the first three months, but not the second
