CJP is focused on the health and well-being of our entire community, including our volunteers, staff, and everyone who participates in Jewish life. We are currently planning to hold this event. Determining whether to proceed with scheduled events will be informed by the latest data and guidance from public officials. If circumstances change, we will update this information and be in touch with registrants.
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training offers an options-based program that provides strategies and guidance to utilize if faced with an active assailant event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active assailant attacks, response options, medical issues, and more. The session includes a PowerPoint presentation, videos, and drills to reinforce central concepts.
We strongly recommend that participants attend the Introduction to Security Concepts and Greeter, Usher, Receptionist Training prior to attending CRASE Training.
