WE’VE GOT SOMETHING TO TELL YOU.
Golden Globe winner Jeffrey Tambor is coming to Chai in the Hub!
Come mix and mingle with our honorees, 18 of Jewish Boston’s most inspiring young adults.
Who are they? Well, let’s see. For starters, we’ve got a stand-up rabbi, a financial wizard, and a woman who watches movies for a living (seriously, how do we sign up for that gig?).

More Questions? Some FAQ’s:
What can I expect?
An amazing night celebrating the Chai in the Hub honorees, as well as hearing from our guest speaker, actor Jeffrey Tambor of Arrested Development, The Hangover and Transparent.
Who will I sit with?
During the sit-down portion of our evening, you’ll be at an assigned table of 10 people. If you didn’t request to sit with anyone, not to worry – we’ll put you next to someone fun.
Will Jeffrey Tambor sit at my table?
Nope, sorry. There are going to be 300 of us and only one of him, so, there are only so many people he can probably sit with – just trying to set expectations.
Can I meet Jeffrey Tambor?
In fact, you can! Because you are a member of CJP’s Ben-Gurion Society (BGS), you are invited to an exclusive reception where you can schmooze with Mr. Tambor himself while enjoying delicious desserts and an open bar. Please note that this reception is only open to BGS members, young adults (22-45) who have made a gift of $1,000 or more to CJP’s Annual Campaign.
I’m a member of BGS, but my date isn’t…can he/she join me at the exclusive dessert reception?
If you are attending with your partner/significant other and they are not a member of BGS, that individual is welcome to join you. Unfortunately, we do not have space to accommodate multiple “guests of”, so, we are limited to these parameters. If you have friends attending the Chai in the Hub event who want to mingle with Jeffrey too but are not yet members of BGS, they can make their donation now or at the event. Email Julia for more info about joining BGS or if you have any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens if my friends didn’t register in advance?
Your spontaneous friends are still welcome to register at the door. If there is room to seat them at your table, we will but, we can’t guarantee seating for the sit-down portion of our program. Thanks for your understanding. Did we mention that online registration ends tonight, Thursday, evening?
Do I need to have cash on me?
Two drink tickets are included, but bring cash if you wish to purchase additional drinks. Yes, folks, that means the dolla dolla billz – not the plastic. Cash only – an ATM is located in the lobby. Remember, there’s always cash in the banana stand.
How do I get to the special dessert reception?
Directly following the formal presentation portion of the evening, BGS members will be directed up one floor (via elevator) to the Brewster Room.
How do I get there?
Ask Siri…or use these handy directions via car and public transportation.
What should I wear?
This is your chance to shine --cocktail attire recommended!
How do I add to the buzz online?
Tweet, post on Facebook – spread the word! Invite people to the event on Facebook. #ChaiHub
Is parking available?
Yes – valet parking only, $32 special event rate. Several garages are in the area as well.
