Given the escalating violence and tension in Israel, we are postponing our Together at Home virtual mission to Israel and Shanghai. Your registration for this event will be honored on the postponed date (more details to come).
Join us for the final session of Together at Home, CJP's online, monthly series for people in their 20s and 30s.
Each month, we’ve brought you interactive opportunities to (virtually) meet with your peers and learn how CJP is supporting the Jewish community in Boston and beyond. For our last program in this session (and newcomers, please, join us), we’ve got something really exciting planned!
We're Going Global: Shalom to Shanghai

Missing international travel? Us too. For now, skip the airport and toss your packing list — we're headed to Israel and Shanghai ...virtually! Travel around the world with us in 75 minutes. Together, we'll meet people in both locations, explore the global Jewish community, and learn about CJP's critical impact overseas.
While traveling with Together at Home, we will:
- See iconic sites throughout Israel and explore Boston’s partner city, Haifa
- Discover the history of the Jewish community in Shanghai and see local sites like the Riverfront and the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum
- View a cooking demonstration of “Beggar’s Chicken” (a classic Shanghai dish) with Michael Leviton, famed local chef and finalist for eight James Beard awards
- Make virtual travel buddies through live, breakout room conversations
- And much more!
Please note: Itinerary is subject to change
Pre-registration is required.
COST: $18 per person for the session below
