Practical Strategies for Calmer, Happier Parenting
Please join us for a casual, engaging presentation and Q&A with Carla Naumburg, Ph.D., LICSW. Dr. Naumburg is a member of our Greater Boston Jewish community and the author of three books on parenting, including How to Stop Losing Your Sh*t With Your Kids.
Dr. Naumburg will outline why parents lose their temper with their teen children and how to stay calmer, more present, and more engaged — even in the most challenging times.
You’ll learn simple, effective strategies for preventing parental meltdowns, as well as practices for reconnecting with your teen after difficult moments. This talk is about parents’ perspective and self-care and will be relevant to parents and caregivers of children of all ages.
You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions, and we'd love to hear in advance if you’re curious about something specific. We invite you to submit questions when you register or send them directly to Leah.
