We are pleased to invite you to the Lifesavers Speaker Series: Helping the Homeless, presented by the Vilna Shul, Boston's Center for Jewish Culture, and CJP.

Dr. James O’Connell, founder of Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, will share his experience working with the city's unhoused population for 30 years. Hear his first-hand stories, insights on access to healthcare in the 21st century, and thoughts on the state of homelessness in Boston today.

We will gratefully accept donations of new winter clothing, including hats, gloves, and socks for Boston Health Care for the Homeless at this event.

Sponsored by Jason Weiner and Nicole Zatlyn, the Vilna Shul Lifesavers Speaker Seriesinvites you into our historic building to engage deeply with global thinkers, influencers, and philanthropists championing social justice and positive change.

Cost: $10 per person. Free for students and people over the age of 65.

If you would like to attend but finances are of concern, please email Lynne Krasker Schultz, Vilna’s Director of Communications and Community Outreach.
