Looking for ways to give back before Hanukkah? Join CJP’s Young Women’s Philanthropy on Tuesday, November 13 for a donation and sorting party to benefit the Clothing Closet at Jewish Family Service of Metrowest (JFS).

The JFS Clothing Closet provides access to free clothing and a dignified experience to meet the basic needs of our friends and neighbors experiencing financial insecurity. Together, we’ll collect and sort children’s clothing to donate, and enjoy time with the inspiring and generous women of our community.

We'll learn more about CJP’s Anti-Poverty Initiative and discover how the JFS Clothing Closet got its start. Hear how a few dedicated individuals came together to fill a need in our community.

If you have children’s clothing you would like to donate, please be sure they meet the JFS Clothing Closet standards. You can also choose to make a monetary donation and support the cost of additional clothing to be purchased before the event. On the registration page, you may choose to donate an additional $36 to help clothe a child.

Wine and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Dietary laws will be observed.

Cost: $36 per person.
Event fees reflect the cost of goods and services provided and are not tax deductible. Any donations above and beyond the fee are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
