Statement on West Bank Terror Attack

We are deeply saddened by a horrific attack this past weekend in which a Palestinian terrorist opened fire at vehicles near Ariel on the West Bank, killing Gal Keidan, a 19-year-old soldier from Beersheba, and Rabbi Achiad Ettinger, a father of 12 who founded a yeshiva, and critically injuring another man.

Our hearts are with the Keidan and Ettinger families, and our prayers are with the injured victim.

Israel’s citizens and its brave men and women who serve in the IDF are always in our thoughts and prayers, but even more so during difficult times like this. CJP stands in solidarity with the people of Israel and reaffirms the right of the State to defend itself.

We mourn with our brothers and sisters in Israel who have suffered so much sorrow at the hands of terrorists.
