How you can help fire and storm victims

Thousands of people in the Merrimack Valley and in the Carolinas are picking up the pieces after deadly disasters and storms. CJP is working with our federation partners — including the Jewish Federation of Merrimack Valley and Jewish Federations of North America — to offer immediate assistance to those in urgent need.

Here’s how you can help

Lawrence, Andover, North Andover fires

Fires and explosions from gas lines in Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover killed a young man, injured dozens more, burned down homes, and forced widespread evacuations.

If you would like to help, please contact the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation at (978) 688-0466 or email Laurie Tishler Mindlin, the federation’s Executive Director at Laurie@mvjf.org.

Hurricane Florence recovery efforts

Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) created the Hurricane Relief Fund 2018 to assist people in communities now dealing with the aftermath of the deadly storm. 100% of donations will aid efforts to provide immediate relief for coastal communities in North Carolina and South Carolina that are coping with major flooding, structure damage, power outages, and widespread infrastructure problems.
