CJP is saddened, shocked, and outraged by the news of Thursday's terrorist attack in Nice, France when a terrorist drove a truck into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day on the popular Promenade des Anglais. This unspeakable act of terror has claimed the lives of at least 84 innocent people, including young children. Another 200 have been injured, many critically. 

CJP strongly condemns this terrorist attack, which is yet another barbaric assault on every person who believes in freedom and the dignity of human life. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the French people in the fight against extremism and terrorism. 

In these tragic times, our community must stand together in the face of hatred. CJP prays for the souls of the victims, and we express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and send our love and compassion to the resilient people of France.
