Chai Society

Chai Society is a giving society for young adults who donate $118–$999 to CJP’s Annual Campaign. Chai, meaning “life” in Hebrew, speaks to how Chai Society members are inspired by the concept of living authentically in the now while beginning to work toward creating a brighter Jewish future. By being part of Chai Society, you have access special events, unique opportunity to expand your network, and the chance to support the ongoing and urgent needs of our Jewish community. You'll also get special perks, like early registration access and discounted tickets to events. Chai Society is a place where you will get to know others who share your passion for Greater Boston’s Jewish community.

The power of collective giving.

What can your annual gift to CJP really do? Well, here are a few examples of how your gift of at least $118 can help change the world:

  • Help a family or a child pay for counseling sessions
  • Provide a personal alert monitor for a senior living at home trying to retain their independence
  • Provide medication for an Argentinean newborn
  • Pay for eyeglasses for an elderly person in need
  • Pay for a support group for a single mother
  • Provide a new immigrant with a five-month Hebrew language class

Please know you make a bigger difference when we work together.
