CJP has selected PowerOptions and Best Practice Energy as preferred power and energy purchasing providers for CJP partners. Both providers assist organizations in saving money by aggregating demand and using that larger demand to negotiate preferential pricing with suppliers. Even if you have recently entered into a new natural gas or electricity contract, we encourage you to learn more and explore savings opportunities for your organization. Both Best Practice Energy and PowerOptions help customers procure electricity, liquid natural gas, and solar energy, looking holistically at your organization’s energy demand and tailoring a solution to address your goals.

Energy market moving higher, but prices still relatively low
Don’t miss this opportunity to lock in a relatively low price for electricity and natural gas supply. Over the last several months, the energy market has increased from the near-record low prices of last fall and winter. Some indicators – such as an expanding economy, projected hot summer, and higher exports – are pointing to a continuation of these higher prices. As the economy expands both domestically and internationally, energy supply will struggle to keep pace with demand, increasing pressure on prices. Getting out in front of rising prices is a safe strategy for organizations to protect their budgets.
CJP’s two preferred energy purchasing providers are eager to speak with CJP partners about the market, how to take advantage of market movements now, and how their programs work. To explore opportunities with PowerOptions, please contact Tricia Rush. To start the conversation with Best Practice Energy, please contact Jordan Berman.
