We learned from a keynote panel moderated by Shira Goodman that included Rabbi Lawrence A. Hoffman, Professor Fania Oz-Salzberger, and Rabbi Jeffrey A. Summit followed by workshops taught by internationally renowned scholars. We concluded the day with Dr. Erica Brown's tribute to Barry and heard Barry's own call for our continued emphasis on Jewish learning and translating our stories for the next generations.

Congressman Joe Kennedy III, Consul General Yehuda Yaakov, and the Patriots' Robert Kraft (with a surprise appearance from Matthew Slater) all paid tribute to Barry. With words of blessing from Rabbi Benjamin Samuels and Rabbi Avi Weiss, the evening was a beautiful reflection of a grateful community, hosted by co-chairs Linda and Michael Frieze and Dena and Michael Rashes.

Thank you to all those who made a gift to CJP's Bridge to the Future Fund in honor of Barry Shrage. Together, we raised more than $7 million to continue Barry's important work of connecting the next generation of young adults to the meaning and beauty of Jewish community. We presented Barry with a tribute book that featured your warm words. Here, you will find the introductory pages with highlights and turning points from Barry’s career.
