CJP has approved a $100,000 emergency grant to support people in harm’s way in Israel. Funds were provided to the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and will be distributed to longstanding partners working on the ground in Israel. Of the total grant, $50,000 is designated to support The Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), which provides psychological services and offers immediate support to victims of terror.

Solidarity Rally in Haifa
More than 300 Arab and Jewish residents participated in a solidarity rally at Beit HaGefen in Haifa to prevent the escalation of violence. Participants, including the Deputy mayor of Haifa (who is an Israeli-Arab woman) expressed their desire for a mutual dialog, healing, and to build bridges to live as a shared society.
