CJP has been at the forefront of Jewish communal security since 2006 when it founded the Jewish Emergency Management System (JEMS). JEMS facilitated security training and emergency communications and represented collaboration between CJP, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater of Boston (JCRC) and a number of other community partners. In 2016, CJP took the next critical step in the evolution of communal security with the launch of the Communal Security Initiative (CSI).
