Interfaith Couples and Families: Explore!

Learn together with your partner and others in a variety of discussion groups, workshops and classes - from holidays to prayer, traditions and rituals, Intro to Judaism and more.

URJ Reform Jewish Outreach Boston, in collaboration with Reform congregations and clergy, offers engaging classes, workshops and resources for interfaith couples and individuals exploring Judaism. Programs include:

  • A Taste of Judaism: Are you curious? A free class focusing on Jewish spirituality, ethics and community, designed for beginners.
  • Introduction to Judaism: An in-depth exploration of Jewish history, lifecycle rituals, holidays and other aspects of Jewish life taught by Reform rabbis and educators.
  • Yours, Mine & Ours: A supportive workshop for dating, engaged and married couples in interfaith relationships designed to strengthen communication about religious differences and explore religious identity issues for future children.
  • Inside Interfaith Relationships: “Respecting Our Faith Differences” and “Honoring our Parents” are among the topics explored in these free, evening discussions for interfaith couples.
  • New Beginnings: A support group for individuals considering conversion to Judaism.
