Brian Abelli is CJP’s Security Supervisor at the Kraft Family Building where he provides frontline oversight of guards, and assists in safety, security, and medical training. He also works with local law enforcement and provides investigative support as needed.
Brian began his career in 1997 with United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Rifleman and later became a machine gun section leader. His military service has taken him to countries all over the world. He became a USMC Instructor and trained and prepared naval bases for possible attacks. After September 11, 2001 he became a Sergeant of the Guard for a Security Forces Anti-Terrorism Team.
In 2004, Brian joined the Massachusetts Army National Guard and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012-2013 and is a Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. There, he was responsible for the security and safety of U.S. citizens, local nationals, and American assets on the base.
He is a certified first responder working on the National Guard Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Yield Explosive (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP). He is qualified as an Incident Commander with the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA).
