Dr. Arna Poupko Fisher is a member of the Department of Judaic Studies at the University of Cincinnati, where she teaches Bible and Jewish thought. Dr. Fisher has more than 25 years of experience teaching and working in the Jewish community, and was chosen as one of ten Women to Watch by Jewish Women’s International in 2010.
After graduating from Yeshiva University with degrees in both Jewish education and medieval Jewish philosophy, Dr. Fisher continued her graduate work in the doctoral programs of both the University of Toronto and McGill University. She is a frequent guest on national radio and television and has published on subjects pertaining to the relationship of Jewish law to contemporary society. Dr.
Fisher is on the core faculty for The Wexner Foundation, the Wexner Fellows program and is a frequent scholar in residence for JFNA Young Leadership Cabinet, and synagogues and Federations throughout North America.
