Jennifer Weinstock - Chai Philanthropy Series

Jennifer Weinstock has been applying her expertise as a development professional for more than 20 years with an emphasis on relationship-building strategies between donors and organizations. She is currently the Associate Head for External Relations at Gann Academy in Waltham.

Before coming to Gann, Jennifer spent six years as the Strategy Manager for Growing Annual Fund Revenue at the Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education. Jennifer worked in the women’s division at both the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Combined Jewish Philanthropies in Boston. She also spent more than a decade at WGBH, Boston’s public broadcasting station, as the Senior Major Gifts Officer, Director of Stewardship, and Director of the Major Gifts Annual Fund.

Jennifer is a sought-after teacher and trainer and has worked with professionals and board members at dozens of Jewish organizations in North America including federations, day schools, Jewish camps, BJEs, and foundations. Jennifer is also a faculty member of the Certificate in Jewish Philanthropy program at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and the On Board program of the Legacy Heritage Foundation. Jennifer was in the pilot class of the Wexner Foundation’s Field Fellowship.

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she was very active in Hillel. She lives in Brookline with her husband, Amiel, and three sons who all attend Jewish day school and Jewish camp.
