Laura Conrad Mandel

Laura Conrad Mandel is an artist, social entrepreneur, and public art advocate.

Prior to its merging with the Boston Jewish Music Festival to become JArts, Laura directed NOW — the young adult program of the New Center for Arts and Culture in Boston.

After graduating Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in art and English, Laura worked at the Hillel JUC of Pittsburgh and Hadassah Southern California.

Laura has taught art and craft classes throughout Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, and Boston. She serves on the Board of the Executive Committee of the Council of American Jewish Museums, the MASSCreative Advisory Council, the JCRC Boston Council, and the Hillel JUC Alumni Council.

Laura is a 2013 recipient of the CJP Chai in the Hub Award for young leaders, and the 2018 Solomon Schechter Day School alumni award.
