Amy B. Klein has been a thoughtful, strategic, and deeply rooted presence at CJP for decades. Long before joining the organization’s Board of Directors in 2016, Amy was engaged in CJP’s Real Estate Construction & Design Network and adult learning initiatives, experiences that helped shaped her enduring commitment to Jewish learning, leadership, and community building. During her nine years on the Board, Amy helped guide CJP through moments of both challenge and celebration, from the COVID-19 pandemic and the October 7 attacks to co-chairing the Temple Emanuel bus for the Spark experience for Israel’s 75th birthday. A devoted leader at Temple Emanuel and a passionate champion of Jewish learning and Israel engagement, she played a pivotal role in bringing the Shalom Hartman Institute to Boston. Through her continued involvement with CJP’s President’s Advisory Council and organizations including Shalom Hartman Institute of North America and IACT at Hillel International, Amy connects institutions, ideas, and people to advance shared communal priorities. Since 2013, Amy has been deeply engaged with IACT, playing a key role in helping scale the CJP initiative to become a national model. As President of the Edward Fein Foundation, Amy is also a fierce supporter of the next generation, with much of her work focused on college campuses and centered on Jewish identity and connection to Israel. In everything she does, Amy is known for her insight and steady moral compass, always elevating the conversation and strengthening the leadership culture. We are proud to honor Amy for her extraordinary service to CJP and to our community — and remain grateful for her vision, generosity, and wisdom.
