Marissa Wainwright serves as Co-chair of CJP’s Young Adult Philanthropy Board, motivating and mobilizing the next generation of leaders in the Boston Jewish community. She is also a member of CJP’s Antisemitism Task Force, which works to strengthen Jewish identities and protect our communal security.
In addition to her volunteer work at CJP, Marissa is deeply involved in the broader Boston Jewish community, serving on the Board of Directors at Jewish Big Brother Big Sister of Greater Boston (where she was previously a “Big”) and Jewish Family Service of MetroWest. She is passionate about her work with the ADL New England, where she recently joined their Associate Board and was previously a participant in their Glass Leadership Institute.
A Newton native, Marissa received her J.D. from Boston College Law School and her B.S. from Vanderbilt University. She is currently working as in-house counsel for Branch, a Bay Area-based tech company. She lives in Waltham with her husband, Zach, daughter, Maya, and dog, Wrigley.
