In the Community - July 2017

Summer started in a big way for 40 local young adults who recently spent 10 days in Israel on one of CJP’s post-college Birthright Israel trips.

Highlights of the trip included visiting Boston’s sister city of Haifa, taking a Graffiti Tour in Tel Aviv, spending time at Masada and the Dead Sea, celebrating Shabbat in the desert, and connecting with Israeli soldiers and students.

Through their transformative journey, participants deepened their passion for Israel and for Jewish life, created a community of their own, and learned more about CJP’s work.

CJP runs two free Birthright Israel trips for young adults each year – one in the summer and one in the winter. If you, or someone in your life, are between the ages of 22 and 26, you may be eligible.
