Matti Kovler is composer in residence with BU's Elie Wiesel Center who has had commissions from Carnegie Hall, Tanglewood and the Israeli Phil. In his spare time, he runs the Jewish Musical Theater network and an ensemble comprised of the hottest Israeli musicians in town. Among his last projects are a viral music-video flashmob at Northeastern, an opera at the MFA and Ami and Tami, a Jewish take on Hansel and Gretel at the Boston Children's Museum.
