Karla Van Praag is the founder and Executive Director of JOIN for Justice and directed its predecessor organization, the Jewish Organizing Initiative. She helped create the Greater Boston Synagogue Organizing Project while at Boston’s Jewish Community Relations Council. Karla serves on the board of Real Food Generation and the leadership team of the Jewish Social Justice Roundtable. A graduate of Wesleyan University, Karla holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
