Transform community through art
Calling all artists
Your creativity can deepen Jewish identity, foster meaningful connections, and create lasting impact. Whether you're an emerging artist or established creator, we believe in the power of art to build the inclusive, vibrant community we envision together.
CJP's Arts and Culture Community Impact Grant Fund invests in artists whose work creates authentic connection and meaningful change. We seek projects that not only serve the community today but create models for lasting cultural engagement across the following priority areas:
Theater and performance
Visual arts
Literary arts
Collaborative projects
What we support
CJP’s Arts and Culture Community Impact Grant Fund seeks to support art that:
- Embraces the diversity and complexity of Jewish identity, community, and tradition
- Spans questions, fosters curiosity, or invites communal dialogue on a range of topics both within the Jewish community and/or more broadly
- Creates inter-group or networked cultural exchange rooted in Jewish tradition or values
- Such projects must address an aspect of those guiding principles
Meet our artists: grantee spotlight
Theater collective: “Voices of our Mothers”
Through The Arts and Culture Grant, we created an intergenerational theater piece that brought together women from across Greater Boston to share stories of resilience, tradition, and hope.
Visual artist: Community mural project
My mural celebrating Jewish heritage in Brookline has become a gathering place for neighbors to connect across generations and share their own family stories.
