Hertz Nursery School is an Early Childhood Center located in Sharon, MA that provides care for children 15 months through 5 years old. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that encourages the young child to develop physically, socially, creatively, emotionally and conceptually.
Hertz Nursery School is a child centered program. Our program:

We are looking for a warm, creative, active team member who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to plan and facilitate creative and engaging activities with the children, both in the classroom and outdoor spaces. We are looking for someone who is able to connect the children’s learning to developmental milestones. A qualified candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children, their parents and staff members.
Plan and implement, with teaching team, a curriculum supporting developmentally appropriate practices and school values.
Assist in the development, evaluation and revision of the Preschool curriculum.
Develop and maintain a constructive relationship with the children and their parents.
Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, and lunch time for students.
Create activities that are fun and educational for the children.
Monitor growth and development of each child and communicate progress and/or concerns with parents and Director.
Bachelors or Associates Degree.
EEC Teacher Certification.
At least two years teaching experience in a preschool setting.
Strong communication skills with children, co-teachers and parents.
Ability to work as a team.
Judaic knowledge or willingness to acquire.
Must have CPR/AED Certification and Red Cross First Aid Certification (which will be provided in August).
You will undergo a CORI and SORI check as well as fingerprinting.
Mondays-Thursdays 9:00 am-3:00 pm; Fridays 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Monday-Fridays 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Mondays-Fridays 7:30 am-1:00 pm
Teacher in-service meetings at the end of August.
Paid Federal holidays, Jewish holidays and school vacations.
