In November 2025, the Massachusetts Special Commission on Combating Antisemitism released its Final Report following more than a year of public hearings, expert testimony, and deliberation. Endorsed by state leaders and institutions across the Commonwealth, the Report offers recommendations for addressing antisemitism in schools, workplaces, local government, and other sectors.

The Commission defines antisemitism as "a hatred of Jews for being Jewish”. It noted that in recent decades, advocates, academics, and governments have developed definitions, examples, and frameworks that serve as valuable tools to raise awareness and increase understanding of antisemitism, as well as encourage conversation. The Commission embraced the non-legally binding IHRA definition of antisemitism and its examples as the “most prominent” of these educational tools.

As with the commission’s final report, the focus of the resources within is action to counter antisemitism: helping institutions create environments where Jewish people can participate fully, safely, and visibly.
