Care when it counts, help when it matters
No one should face hardship alone. For 130 years, CJP has upheld the Jewish value of caring for our neighbors, all our neighbors. Today, with our partners and your support, Greater Boston is a place where help is there when you need it and where everyone can give back.
Our caring work
When people face financial crisis, mental health struggles, disability, or the challenges of aging, we help ensure they get the resources they need.
Basic needs and safety
Through CJP’s Warmline, we partner locally to deliver financial assistance when a crisis hits. We also help those facing or fleeing domestic violence find safety.
Mental health support
Mental health challenges don’t wait. We support our partners in scaling up essential services, from operating the Mental Health Connect resource line to connecting people with local therapists.
Disability assistance
Through our partners, we help people with disabilities launch careers and empower schools to fully serve students with diverse learning needs.
Older adult services
As we age, life changes bring new needs. CJP connects older adults and their caregivers to support services across Greater Boston.
Jewish Assistance Network
JAssist makes getting help simple: access local resources anonymously, with no paperwork, for legal, financial, housing, food, health, employment, and family needs.
Scholarships
CJP scholarships make Jewish summer camp, college, and Israel experiences accessible to families who need financial support.
Inclusion and belonging
Discover how CJP fosters belonging across identity, ability, orientation, race, and faith. Inclusive programs help Jewish Greater Boston thrive.
Global caring
Jewish life pulses across continents, and so does CJP's work. We connect and support Jewish communities worldwide, especially Dnipro, Boston's sister city in Ukraine, where our commitment runs deep.

From crisis to community leadership
Real outcomes from real people whose lives have been transformed through community support and connection.
“CJP didn’t just help me survive a difficult time, they showed me how to help others thrive. Now I see my role in building the community that caught me when I fell.”
Welcoming the whole community
At CJP, we believe no one should stand alone. Guided by the Jewish values of kavod (honoring every person’s dignity), we’re making sure our Jewish Greater Boston community is intentionally and joyfully inviting, inclusive, and inspiring.
Caring across borders
For more than 30 years, CJP has partnered with Jewish communities around the world, including Ukraine, helping people access care, respond to crises, and build a vibrant Jewish future.
Boston’s sister city in Ukraine
For more than three decades, CJP and the Jewish community of Dnipro have worked together to strengthen Jewish life and support people in times of need.
Responding through crisis
As war continues in Ukraine, CJP helps sustain healthcare, elder care, family support, disability services, and emergency assistance through trusted local partners.
Powered by trusted partners
Working with organizations including JDC and Action for Post-Soviet Jewry, CJP helps communities access critical resources and maintain vibrant Jewish life.
Together, we thrive
Let’s build a caring Jewish Greater Boston together, for today and for generations to come.
