Since its launch in 2024, CJP’s Center for Combating Antisemitism (CCA) has united organizations, leaders, and resources to turn awareness into action. From workplaces to schools to civic spaces, CCA equips the community with the tools, strategies, and partnerships needed to recognize, respond to, and prevent antisemitism.

CJP's Center for Combating Antisemitism (CCA) is the central hub for coordinated efforts to address antisemitism in Greater Boston. CCA works with schools, workplaces, civic institutions, and community partners to educate leaders, strengthen allyship, and equip communities to identify and respond to antisemitism. Its mission is to make antisemitism socially and politically unacceptable in Greater Boston while ensuring that Jewish community members can live safe and joyous Jewish lives. CCA works with employers and Jewish Employee Resource Groups to make workplaces more inclusive and supportive of Jewish employees. In its first year, CCA convened more than 50 Jewish employee leaders from over 35 corporations across Greater Boston and trained more than 1,000 professionals on understanding antisemitism, including leaders at Harvard and Mass General Brigham. Over the next three years, CCA aims to connect every workplace Jewish Employee Resource Group in Greater Boston and train 5,000 leaders on antisemitism.

CJP launched the Center for Combating Antisemitism (CCA) in spring 2024 in response to the sharp rise in antisemitism following October 7, 2023. Building on earlier work by CJP task forces, CCA was created as a central hub to coordinate local efforts across Greater Boston. In its first year, CCA established its staff, strategy, and partnerships while addressing urgent community needs.
CCA is focused on Greater Boston while partnering with organizations and leaders locally and nationally. Its work centers on schools, workplaces, civic spaces, and community institutions across Greater Boston, with the goal of making antisemitism socially and politically unacceptable in the region. As a funder, convener, and central hub, CCA works collaboratively to strengthen local responses and share best practices.
CJP's Communal Security Initiative (CSI) and Center for Combating Antisemitism (CCA) work together to help ensure that Greater Boston's Jewish community remains strong, safe, and vibrant. While CCA focuses on engagement, education, advocacy, and strengthening civic institutions, CSI provides professional security advice, support, funding, and incident response for Jewish organizations. CCA and CSI also collaborate with partners such as ADL to track antisemitic incidents, coordinate community responses, and strengthen security across Greater Boston.
