As we transition from summer to fall and organizations prepare for fall programming and employee engagement initiatives, now is a great time to think about how Jewish employees can be best supported and included in the workplace this year.

Resources for supporting Jewish employees

CJP’s Center for Combating Antisemitism (CCA), in partnership with JCRC, has created a short video and practical guide based on recommendations from the Massachusetts Special Commission on Combating Antisemitism. These resources make it easy to identify steps that can strengthen belonging, inclusion, and employee engagement.

The recommendations make clear that workplaces should create stronger mechanisms for educating, training, and reporting on antisemitism. They also recognize and uplift Jewish Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which provide spaces for connection, visibility, and support in the workplace. CJP's current workplace recommendations specifically highlight employer support and formal recognition of Jewish ERGs as an important part of creating more inclusive workplaces.

Applications are now open for CJP’s CCA Jewish at Work stipends, which provide limited funding support of up to $3,000 to launch or expand Jewish ERG efforts at workplaces across Greater Boston.
