In February, CJP proudly sponsored the third annual Winter Walk, presented by Boston Medical Center and Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan. The walk gathered more than 1,000 people in support of a vital cause: ending homelessness in our city. At CJP, homelessness prevention is a significant facet of our social justice (tzedek) work. By working with partnerships throughout Greater Boston who share our values, we are addressing the root causes of homelessness head-on.
The Winter Walk is a big part of that effort. Through their participation in the two-mile circuit, volunteers and staff representing CJP joined in solidarity with others — some who have homes, and some who are currently unhoused — to raise awareness and funds for our homeless community.
